ミラディンブロック構築開幕戦はアマチュアが制す――。6/26〜27 に開催されたグランプリチューリッヒは、参加者 640 人によるミラディンブロック構築・スイス 14 回戦＋決勝シングルエリミネーション 3 回戦で行なわれ、Manuel Bucher がチャンピオンとなりました。
数多くのプロプレイヤーがひしめき合うなか、チャンピオンとなった Manuel Bucher はプロポイントを得たことがないアマチュアプレイヤーでした。グランプリの優勝賞金とともにアマチュア賞金をもがっちりとゲットして、会場中の誰よりもおいしい思いをしていることでしょう。彼にそのおいしい思いをもたらせてくれたのは、プロツアー神戸で準優勝した Gabriel Nassif も使っていた緑単マナいっぱいデッキ Twelve-Post でした。もっとも、Bucher のバージョンではサーチスペルが一枚少ないので Eleven-Post といったところですかね。
日本国内でもいよいよプロツアーコロンバス予選が始まり、ミラディンブロック構築のシーズンがやってきます。スタンダードとブロック構築という二つのフォーマットを調整しないといけない、なんとも忙しいシーズンですね。
